Chip has been with the Daniel Island Club for 6 years and has been coaching tennis for 15 years. While coaching in the Charleston area, he has developed, coached, and trained many of the top players in the Southern section, nation, and professional players on both the ATP and WTA tours. Some of these players have reached #1 in the USA, multiple players #1 in the Southern section, and collegiate All-Americans. In addition, he is a travel coach for multiple players on the WTA. Chip played college tennis at Brigham Young University. Earned the record for most wins in a season in school history. In junior tennis, he was #1 in singles and doubles in SoCal, #15 nationally in singles, and #1 nationally in doubles. He has earned 2 Gold Balls from national championships. Has competed in professional tennis tournaments from the age of 14-22.
