David Obalč Vincent moved to Charleston in September 2023. He was born in northern Uganda and is a proud member of the Acholi tribe, but grew up in Portland, Maine from the age of five. He studied aviation at the University of Southern Maine and has worked in the airline industry since 2012. With half of his family living in Australia, David has spent a great deal of time on that continent. His love for travel has taken him all over the world. He speaks three languages fluently and is always eager to learn more—particularly Spanish, which he has studied for the past five years, including frequent trips to Latin America to immerse himself in the culture. David has always been fascinated by golf. While he didn’t have the opportunity to play growing up, he’s now excited to learn as much as he can about the game and its community. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, watching and playing sports, and discovering new interests.
