Originally from Minnesota, Lauren and her husband moved here to escape the cold weather and explore a new area of the country. She graduated from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with a double major in Communications and Journalism. During her time in college, she was involved in the UMD Board of Publications, the school paper, collegiate track and field, and the dance team. She got her start in events working for the Midwest start-up Love Your Melon and has worked for various event agencies and venues since then. She is looking forward to using her vast experience at the Daniel Island Club and interacting with the members. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, and exploring Charleston.
