Though not a Charleston native, Courtney fell in love with the city when her father was stationed at The Naval Weapons Station in 2000. In 2009, she received an Associates in Culinary Arts Technology from The Culinary Institute of Charleston before transferring to the University of South Carolina, Beaufort, where she earned a Bachelors in Hospitality Management. A move to Raleigh, NC brought an opportunity to manage catering and events at a local restaurant while earning a Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University. A career transition led Courtney to North Carolina State University to work as their Senior Catering Coordinator. In May of 2015, she felt the call to return to Charleston, spending four years as a Catering and Events Manager at the Citadel before joining our team at the Daniel Island Club in April of 2019.
